WHO WE ARE 

NZAM machinery provides the market with the assurance of quality and well maintained new and used construction and earthmoving machinery. There are no surprises, our team of fully qualified mechanics and technicians give each machine a full inspection prior to sale, identifying any issues and attending to them, if necessary before we hand over the machine.

THE BEGINNING

NZAM Ltd was established in 1997, by the Hart family, to supply quality second-hand machinery to the earthmoving and civil construction markets. 

For a start, the focus was very much on earthmoving and roading developments with John, and his sons Joe and Tim, behind the controls of their machines. As time moved on the Hart family diversified into hire and machinery sales with the formation of Hireways Ltd in 2003. Hireways quickly became the owning company, with NZAM as the trading division.

NZAM Ltd is now a stand-alone company dedicated to selling only the best value of new and used machinery to customers throughout New Zealand and internationally.

OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH HYDREMA 

NZAM have been selling the Hydrema brand of dump trucks into the New Zealand market ever since 2006 when management recognised a need in New Zealand for lighter off-road dump trucks.

The Articulated Dump Trucks (ADT’s) are sold new and used and have quickly become the benchmark for quality, and off-road performance. With typical European quality, these German-built dumpers are also extremely robust and competitively priced.

The tip tray can be removed and replaced with almost any tank or setup available. Current configurations around the world include fertilizer spreaders, hook-lifters, water sprayers, grain bins and snowploughs. NZAM also offers specialized rail-certified Hydrema’s to the rail market. Operators rate these as highly efficient with swivel multi-tip and rapid road/rail adaptability.
